Salvation is a Promise

Salvation is a promise, NOT an assurance

Many believers have misunderstood the scriptures regarding Salvation. Many are presented salvation as being already settled  for them. They are even told that they can’t lose it. Because they are not conscious that they can lose their salvation, many are not fighting to keep it, as they believe it is an assurance for them. There is nothing else they should do to keep it.

With such a belief in their heart, they can continue with their selfish and sinful life until the end of their lives and then they die in their SINS …

According to the Bible, Salvation is an inheritance that believers will receive:

Hebrews 1:13-14:

“But to which of the angels has He ever said: ‘Sit at My right hand, Till I make Your enemies Your footstool?’ Are they not all ministering spirits sent forth to minister for those who will inherit salvation!” (NKJV)

Angels are ministering to them that will inherit Salvation. Salvation therefore is an inheritance at the end of the process of our Christian walk.

While keeping our Hope strong to receive that inheritance, we must continue to work out our Salvation with fear and trembling while God himself is working in us both the willing and the doing…(Philippians 2:12)
